Hi, I'm Joleen.
I was raised in in the New Apostolic Church. In 2026, I started attending mass at a local parish. Now I'm in OCIA, preparing to be received into the Church at Easter 2027.
I'm a journaler at heart. Structured pages help me get out of my own head and onto the page, so I started making my own: a place for each week's readings, the Catechism section we're studying, and the questions I want to take to class.
Newly Catholic is where I share those notes and pages with you. I'm not a theologian or a teacher; I'm learning alongside you. Your parish and your OCIA team are your guides. Think of me as the friend in the pew next to you.
